Hans Gundersen Semb:  He was born February 2, 1815 in the parish of Holla. His parents were Gunnar Larsen Helgen and Inger 
Tommesdatter Vipeto. He died in Kasson, Minnesota on September 16, 1881 and was buried in Ashippun Luth. Cemetery.
He married Marie Olsdatter (b. ca 1823) and they had the following children:
	Inger Andrea                                  b. April 18, 1854
	Marie Lovise                                  b. May 2, 1857                     married to Georg Derse
	Emma                                                                                              married to W. E. Smith
	Clara Pauline                                  b. March 8, 1863           died Sept 3, 1875
